Spirits Claim The Right Of Entitlement

A demonic spirit will claim that they have the right to be where they have chosen to be. They will claim they have the right to remain in a person or place which they have claimed as their own. THIS IS A LIE. This is not at all true. They are intruders and trespassing upon the lives of human beings whom Jesus Christ died for in an effort to set them free from all Satanic influence and power!

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created , that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:12-17

The reason that demon spirits will represent themselves as individuals who have died at certain locations is because this notion creates the false impression that this spirit then has some "right" to be there. If they did not create this sense of history and attachment, then it would be far more obvious that they do not belong or have any right to dwell at that specific location.

You will also notice that these spirits (ghosts) often represent themselves as some poor victim of a terrible or sad death. They use the human propensity toward pity and compassion to help them establish their right of entitlement. But folks, the dead do not continue to limp or remain blind as life in the spirit is not at all confined to the same limitations as was life in the flesh. Interestingly, these "ghosts" always appear in period dress, or in some form of dress that helps to identify them as the individual they seek to emulate and impersonate. Does clothing also somehow become spiritual in nature after one dies? Do we literally go through eternity lame, blind, dumb, deaf, or cripple - if that was our experience and situation in this life? NO! The spirit of a human being will not have the same handicaps that they possessed in life. But isn't it interesting that "ghosts" regularly represent themselves in such ways?

When we understand that so-called "ghosts" are in fact demonic spirits trying to impersonate human spirits, then and only then can we successfully expel them, rejecting them in the name of, and upon the full authority of, Jesus Christ. So long as we chose to believe that these entities are in fact who they claim to be, we fall victim to their deception and allow them to remain based upon the false premise of entitlement.

Were a demonic spirit to appear as it truly is, one would not be at all willing to entertain or welcome it. So they transform themselves into someone that we can pity or have compassion for...

II Corinthians 11:14
